34 Entrepreneurs from 23 Companies Selected at 60th International Selection Panel in San Francisco

Endeavor selected 34 high-impact entrepreneurs representing 23 companies from 15 countries at its 60th International Selection Panel. Endeavor now supports 1 136 High-Impact Entrepreneurs from 717 companies in 23 emerging and growth market countries around the world. The entrepreneurs were chosen at a panel held from 5–7 August in the heart of San Francisco, where Endeavor has a support office. Panellists ranged from Silicon Valley venture capital executives to top business leaders, drawn from Endeavor’s extensive global network.

The International Selection Panel (ISP) is the culmination of a rigorous multi-step selection process. At the ISP, top local and international business leaders interview candidates about their businesses and high-impact potential, and then vote on whether or not candidates become Endeavor Entrepreneurs. Post-selection, Endeavor provides entrepreneurs with customized services, including introductions to local and international business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have had a significant track record of creating hundreds of thousands of jobs, generating billions of dollars in revenues, and building sustainable growth models in their home countries.

This was a particularly auspicious occasion for Endeavor SA as the inaugural winner of the FNB Business Innovation Award (FNB BIA) 2015, Bruce Morgan, CEO and founder of GreatSoft CRM, and one of the finalists, Dov Girnun, CEO and founder of Merchant Capital, attended as candidates. Apart from going through the Endeavor selection process, they also faced the FNB Business Innovation Award panel.

“The FNB Business Innovation Award is a fantastic achievement for us. It validates the work that our team continues to do on a daily basis. Five years ago we reviewed the course of our business and it is great to see our efforts paying off. We are thrilled with this accolade and look forward to the opportunities ahead,” says Bruce Morgan, CEO of GreatSoft CRM. Dov also pointed to the benefit he has derived from the process: “Through my participation [in the Endeavor selection process] thus far, I have met some truly inspiring business leaders who looked at my business through a microscope and asked tough questions about all facets of the company. The experience was invaluable…”

They were supported by two Endeavor SA Board members, Michael Vacy-Lyle (FNB Business CEO) and Barry Swartzberg (Discovery Executive Director); Nicole Sykes and Howard Arrand, representing the FNB BIA team; and members of the Endeavor SA team.
